Question 1

Do I have to pay a monthly subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. On Envite you pay once per event. If you organise a wedding this year and a birthday the next, you pay for each separately, and only for the plan you need.

Question 2

Can I change template after I have started?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as many times as you want. The content is separate from the design, so changing template keeps your words, photos and sections: only the presentation changes.

Question 3

Do my guests need to create an account?

Accepted Answer

No. The invitation opens from a link, with no sign-up and no app. To RSVP they only have to press a button.

Question 4

Can I upgrade an event’s plan later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can move from Invita to Celebra or Experiencia at any time, and you only pay the difference from what you already paid for that event. The new features turn on instantly and you lose nothing you had already made.

Question 5

What if I regret the purchase?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel it within 14 days of buying, as long as you have not published the invitation, and we refund the full amount. Do it online from “Cancel my purchase here”, in the footer of any page.

Question 6

What happens to the photos my guests upload?

Accepted Answer

They are kept in your event’s private album. You can turn on moderation to review them before they appear, and decide whether guests can see them or only upload. They are kept for up to 45 days after the event: before deleting them we email you so you can download them.

Question 7

Does the invitation work well on a phone?

Accepted Answer

It is designed for the phone first, because that is where almost all your guests will open it. It is built to load fast and fit any screen.

Question 8

Can I use my own domain?

Accepted Answer

In this version each invitation lives at an Envite address with the name of your event, for example getenvite.com/e/mary-and-joseph. Custom domains are coming later.

Question 9

Is my data and my guests’ data safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each event is isolated at the database level: nobody else can see your guests or their answers. Private links use codes that cannot be guessed, and we never publish personal information.
